Obscure players who never had a card printed such as Dick & Hank Allen’s brother Ron pictured with the 1969 Phillies, HOFer Freddy Lindstrom’s son Chuck who went 1 for 1 with the 1958 White Sox or Don Zimmer’s son Tom with the 1976 Cardinals….this is just the tip of the ice burg on these cup of coffee type players I offer.
Also players in uniforms they never had a card printed on such as Danny Ozark with the 1965 Dodgers, Manny Jimenez with the 1969 Cubs or how about Joe Henderson with the 1974 White Sox….these are just awesome photographs.
How about the Latin/Dominican players such as Luis Rosado (‘77 Mets), Tommy Cruz (‘73 Cardinals), Frankie Libran (‘69 Padres), Santiago Rosario (‘65 A’s), Eddie Vargas (‘84 Pirates), Manny Jimenez (‘69 Cubs)…and the list goes on from there.
Then there are players who only have a multi-player card such as Tim Jones who only has that 1978 rookie card with the Pirates or Bob O’Brien with that 1972 rookie card with the Dodgers or Guido Grilli and his one and only card that 1966 rookie card with the Red Sox….and there are PLENTY more of these type of players to choose from.
Most of the players have never seen these photos before and several have asked me to get more for their friends and family. I go back to ex-players in the 30’s and 40’s with an emphasis on players in the 60’s, 70’s and 80's. Once you see one you’ll be curious about the others as they are just beautiful shots. There are currently about 1,200 total in stock and I will continue to add more throughout the years to come….enjoy, because that’s what it’s all about.
